The SAFe POPM Certification is highly recommended for anybody interested in working in the product management or ownership fields. Within the context of a SAFe framework, the Product Owner/Product Manager will elucidate the duties and responsibilities of product managers and product owners.

Although the SAFe Product Owner Certification program focuses on a more specific subset of the SAFe framework than the SAFe Agilist (Leading SAFe) or the SAFe Practitioner (SAFe for Teams), all three certification programs may be completed in only two days and cover very comparable terrain.

You should enrol in the SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager, or POPM, certification program if you are already working as a Product Manager or Product Owner in a SAFe scaled agile environment, or if you plan to work in such an environment in the near future.

Attending the SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager certification course is beneficial for product managers, product owners, business owners, business analysts, portfolio managers, program managers, enterprise architects, solution architects, system architects, and staff members working in project management offices (PMOs), process leads, Agile coaches, and executive-level Agile leaders.

Attendees need to have either a high school diploma or a bachelor’s degree to enrol.

Candidates should either have taken a top-tier SAFe course, have substantial experience in a SAFe context, or be familiar with lean, agile, or another applicable methodology.

If you want to take the SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager certification test, you should have the following experiences and skills.

  • Take a Leading SAFe course.
  • Practice operating inside a SAFe framework
  • Knowledge of Lean, Agile, or similar processes is preferred.
